Rome Fiumicino Airport is an international airport in Fiumicino, Italy, serving Rome. It is the busiest airport in the country, the eleventh busiest in Europe and the 49th busiest in the world with over 43.5 million passengers. It covers an area of 16 square kilometers.
The airport served as the main hub for Alitalia, formerly the flag carrier and largest Italian airline, which ceased operations on 15 October 2021. Rome Fiumicino airport is the 10th cleanest airport in the world by 2023. As of 2022, it has won the “Best Airport Award” in the category of hubs with over 40 million passengers, issued by Airports Council International (ACI) Europe for three consecutive years.

Chubu Centrair International Airport is an international airport on an artificial island in Ise Bay. It is located 35 km south of Nagoya in central Japan. Centrair is classified as a Category I airport and is the main international gateway for the Chubu region of Japan. 10.2 million people used the airport in 2015, ranking it the 8th busiest.
Chubu Centrair Airport has been ranked as the seventh cleanest airport in the world by 2023. It is the third largest international airport in Japan and also third in this list.

Kansai International Airport is the primary international airport in the Greater Osaka area of Japan and the closest international airport to the cities of Osaka, Kyoto and Kobe.
